Transitional Program for Socialist Revolution

Written by Leon Trotsky in 1938 for the founding congress of the Fourth International, The Transitional Program constitutes a revolutionary Marxist manifesto at the time of imperialism or the agony of capitalism.

Between the minimal program of trade unions and social-democratic parties and the maximal program of socialist revolution, Marxist militants need to develop a transitional program capable of reaching the working masses and arousing in them the awareness of their historical mission.
